Statistical Modelling and Strategy Specialist

Location: Birmingham, London & Manchester

Work arrangement: You'll be in the office 3 days per week, and at your preferred location 2 days per week

Why this role is important

The Statistical Modelling & Strategy team (SMS) in Credit Risk focuses on creating and overseeing strategies to safeguard the development of the Consumer and Commercial segment for EE and BT portfolios, covering Mobile, Fixed line, Broadband, and TV. Specialists aid stakeholders in executing initiatives to enhance customer acquisition, account maintenance, and the customer journey across BT and EE products. The position involves managing various analytical projects to boost market share within set risk parameters.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the implementation of Acquisition and Credit Risk strategies
  • Producing analytics to improve scorecard models
  • Working with internal and external partners to meet company objectives
  • Providing insights on performance trends and growth opportunities
  • Assisting in testing and executing policies and processes
  • Serving as a credit risk expert overseeing analytical projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in growth strategies within credit risk environments
  • Building statistical models and scorecards
  • Proficiency in SAS and Excel
  • Degree in financial, statistical, or mathematical disciplines
  • Offering implementation suggestions for credit risk systems
