For our client, health & safety is at the top of our agenda.

So, this is a key role for them, where you will be absolutely critical to driving our health and safety agenda, protecting our risk and supporting their brilliant colleagues on site.

You will assist in all aspects of Health & Safety including near miss, incident and injury reporting and escalate any concerns to senior management.

You will keep safety records, produce and update spreadsheets. A daily responsibility will be to participatein and record safety audits and provide weekly reporting. You will pro-actively drive and improve safety on site.

Day-to-day

Monitorsand adheres to safety principles ensuring the site is meeting health and safety obligations.

Investigatesaccidents and near misses and recording and reporting.

Recordingand keeping spreadsheets updated.

Analysis of risk and development of improvement plans.

Deliverssafety audits across the site to ensure the DC is compliant.

What you'll bring

ExperienceQualified to IOSH Managing Safely would be desirable but not absolutely necessary and willing to undertake further training.

Analytical skills and IT proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets Excel and Word.

Attention to detailand the ability to identify risks, trends and produce reports.

Communication skillsthat encourage compliance and win people round.
