Provide advice and support to front line clinicians to ensure that high standards of practice in Safeguarding and child protection are maintained and continuously improved.

The post holder will need to deal with difficult situations and interruptions, which may need urgent responses.

To work closely with the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children and other Service Managers to address safeguarding and protecting children practice issues in relation to competencies; performance management, training and development; The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who has experience of managing complex child protection cases.

With extensive knowledge of the law relating to child protection/children in need working.
You will have previous experience in a Band 6/7 role, working in safeguarding environment. With a compliance in Safeguarding Training Level 3 being essential for the role.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role and access to a vehicle.
