A multi-disciplinary consultancy with a nationwide presence, are looking to appoint a new Principal Designer / CDM Consultant to operate out of their Bromley office but home / hybrid working is offered.
A great opportunity to work across a variety of sectors on a plethora of different construction projects from conception right through to completion.
This employer treats their staff as their most important asset and therefore training and individual CPD plans will be drawn out for all new employees.
The role of the Principal Designer / CDM Consultant
As the successful Principal Designer / CDM Consultant
- Provide CDM advice and support including all matters of Health and Safety Compliance
- To fulfil the roles of Health and Safety Consultant, CDM Advisor and Principal Designer.
- Carry out Health and Safety audits, site inspections and write up reports.
- Attending design team meetings engaging with client and designers.
- Preparing F10 notifications and reviewing construction phase plans
The Successful CDM Consultant:
The skills required by the successful CDM Consultant:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum
- Ideally working towards or have achieved their Diploma level
- Hold professional membership with IOSH and ideally the APS.
- At least 3 years working in a CDM and consultancy environment.
- Work to own initiative and self manage own diary.
