Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons that cater to the needs of diverse students
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages active participation and engagement
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as necessary
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities
  • Keep uptodate with the latest developments in the field of science education
  • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, achievements, and behavior
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field
  • Teaching qualification or certification in Science Education
  • Proven experience as a Science Teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Proactive and flexible approach to teaching, adapting to varying student needs
  • High level of IT literacy and proficiency in utilizing educational technologies
