We are Corrine, David, James and Jacqueline and we have recently moved into our brand-new bungalows in Tullibody.
For some of us, this is the first time we have lived in our own homes, so we need patience and understanding while we take time to adjust to our new surroundings.
We have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of our learning disabilities, Autism, mental health issues and hearing/visual impairments but this hasn't stopped us from enjoying life We enjoy some of the same things as each other like dancing, listening to music, spending time with friends and family and going out for tea and cake, but we also enjoy our own activities, including gardening, sports, cooking and baking, animals and going to parties.
As well as the activities we enjoy, our team also supports us with:
- Medication
- Cooking
- Assisting with personal care
- Maintaining our homes and managing our finances
Our staff support us from 8am - 8pm or overnight from 8pm - 8am, which helps us to feel safe as we settle into our new homes.
Your values:
We like to be supported by people who respect us and our homes, but who also like to have fun
Since we've never had our own homes before, we need people who have a good grasp on basic life skills and can help us to learn more about how to be independent.
We like people who are reliable and honest, so we can build trust and know that you have our best interests at heart.
