Across all 3 Key stages, they focus on the following areas:

developing the skills to become successful readers and writers; studying a range of texts to ensure a depth of knowledge and love for learning; building independence and preparing students for further academic study and life after school.

They also use the Accelerated Reader Programme to develop reading for pleasure.

Through the curriculum provided through KS3 and KS4, they hope that by KS5 all students become assured writers with the confidence to research and develop their own ideas outside the confines of the curriculum.

The department are looking for a English Teacher to join their team from September. The role will be for the end of the academic year in the first instance.

To be considered for this English Teacher role you must have:
