Description
The Systems Accountant will have a wide range of duties including:
- Lead the support of the company's finance IT solution, working with senior business stakeholders and fellow IT professionals to solve problems and enable continuous improvement.
- Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
- Define and communicate solution best practices.
- Margin analysis, cost of sales analysis and other analytics as required
- Budgeting, forecasting and other month end duties.
- Identify gaps and issues and provide workaround solutions.
- Support management of integration with other business systems.
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Proactively identify and propose business process improvements and system enhancements.
- Provide adhoc training and user support as required.
- Act as a liaison between business users and business leads.
This is an exciting role for an experienced finance professional who is keen to join an expanding and vibrant organisation.
Profile
The Systems Accountant will have
- Demonstrable solid experience of recently working with SAP Finance or similar ERP system.
- Have worked previously in a finance environment.
- Ideally be a partqualified accountant, looking to qualify in the near future.
- Have an excellent understanding of business processes.
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be capable of chairing workshops and engaging with key business stakeholders.
- Be familiar with finance integration with sales and purchasing.
- Have experience of using finance reporting/analysis tools such as Hyperion or similar.
- Must be a selfstarter and able to hit the ground running.
Job Offer
The salary on offer is dependent upon experience and level of qualification between £40,000 and £50,000 plus a generous benefits package and study support for ACCA/CIMA.
