Cashier required for a busy wholesale company. The position is part time, 20 hours per week including weekends. Flexibility is critical to work with and around the excellent team currently in roles.

  • Accountable for maintaining smooth sales and business customer service policy.
  • Be responsible for receiving, processing and reconciling card, cheque and cash payments.
  • Process end of the day transfers.
  • Ability to work accurately and methodically with good numerical & administrative skills.
  • Be capable of working in a fast pace environment whilst maintaining focus.
  • Be dependable, flexible to accommodate Rota requirements
  • Be ready for trade by ensuring the cash office is kept clean and tidy.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Job Duties:

  • Operate all aspects of the register, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and scales
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift
  • Maintain a clean work environment, keeping register clear for incoming customers
  • Other duties as requested.
