This is what we need you to do...

  • Lead civil engineering projects within allocated timeframes and budget, ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
  • Oversee equipment installation and manage contractors.
  • Develop technical specifications to Tender projects in collaboration with Procurement team.
  • Collaborate with engineering departments to enhance plant efficiency.
  • Maintain workplace standards and manage external service providers.
  • Monitor safety regulations, advise on operational changes, and coordinate maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure DWG are up to date and correct, including by liaising with CAD operator(s) if required.


These are what you'll need to be successful...

  • ONC, HNC, HND, degree or equivalent in engineering or civil engineering.
  • Supervisory and Management qualifications with significant practical experience essential.
  • Experience of leading and delivering high value civil engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of Site Health and Safety Rules with a CIEH Supervising Health and Safety certificate.
  • An SMSTS or CSCS qualification is desirable.
  • Intermediate standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to use AutoCAD is advantageous but not essential.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are important.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant SAP module preferred.
