I am a young woman living at home in Peebles, looking for a people to join my small team of carers on a Bank capacity.

I require care 20 hours a day so need people that I can really rely on to support my team should anyone require sick or annual leave.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• I require support with all my personal care needs support with washing/showering daily.
• I need help with all cooking and meal preparation throughout the day, ensuring that I have eaten and drunk enough.
• I need someone to prompt and assist me when taking my medication.
• I require support around my home help with laundry, housework and the general running of my home along with assistance with the shopping too.
• I need encouragement and support if I choose to go out socially and need someone who can help with any personal care requirements during these times too.

• A person who is reliable, trustworthy and confidential.
• Someone who will work well within my team but who is confident enough to work on their own initiative too.
• Ideally someone who is happy to work alongside cats as I have four.

Hours of work

• Shifts are 7am2pm, 5pm10pm and sleepovers are 10pm7am, these shifts are worked Monday to Sunday with the exception of Thursday when there is no requirement for the 5pm10pm shift.

The terms
- £11.00 per hour for day shifts and £9.50 per hour for sleepovers.

• 5.6 weeks annual leave calculated on a prorata basis.
• This is a female only post and is an occupation requirement permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equalities Act 2010.
