What you'll be responsible for:

  • Support, liaise and work effectively within the CYPS Crisis Pathway Teams.
  • Liaise with the wider team and external agencies as applicable.
  • Ensure good record keeping in line with current practice and computer systems.
  • To demonstrate effective time management skills to manage workload independently and as part of the team to ensure duties are performed efficiently and service standards are met.
  • Effectively and sensitively communicate with parents of young people and other organisations involved in the care of the patients.
  • Participate in other administrative tasks to support the service, including photocopying, scanning, uploading and mail management.
  • Formatting letters and reports created by the clinicians within the CYPS Crisis Pathway.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent administrative experience (3 years)
  • 3 years' experience of clerical and administrative work requiring a high degree of accuracy and working in accordance with policies/procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
