We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Training Officer to join our dynamic team.


The Training Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing specialized training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our technical and engineering teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs that meet the specific needs of the lift industry, including technical and safety training.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on lift installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultation with managers and technical experts.
  • Design and create training materials, manuals, and documentation tailored to lift industry standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
  • Maintain records of training activities, employee certifications, and progress.
  • Collaborate with department heads and technical experts to identify training needs and opportunities.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the lift industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Training Officer or similar role within the lift industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and elearning software.
  • Indepth knowledge of lift industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Lift Installation, servicing and repair.

Working Conditions:

  • Fulltime position based in our main office, with travel to sites and branch offices.
  • Standard office hours, with flexibility for training sessions outside regular hours across the UK.
  • Handson training sessions in the classroom, elearning and operational environments.
