Job Title: Support Worker for Vulnerable Young People

Are you compassionate, kind, and patient? If so, we have some fantastic opportunities available in the Swansea and South Wales areas that we would love to discuss with you.
We are seeking dedicated support workers to care for vulnerable young individuals who have undergone various traumas, leading to their placement in a care environment after being removed from their families. The age range of the children will be from birth to 18 years old.
The young individuals may have encountered issues such as sexual exploitation, substance misuse, challenging behaviors, or self-harm tendencies; hence, experience in de-escalation techniques is essential.
- Requirements for this role:
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care for Children
- Clean driving license
- Enhanced DBS clearance registered with Social Care Wales
- Preferably trained in PMBA restraint techniques
We can provide PMBA training for the ideal candidate.
Minimum of 6 months' experience working in a residential setting for children is required.
