We are delighted to be representing one of our long-standing clients as they add further headcount into their finance team.

This is a brilliant role for a Direct Debit Officer to join the company taking responsibility for creating, allocating and collecting direct debit payments.

This role will require some administration including downloading, verifying and processing payroll files, processing a daily payment run and managing any cash deposits.

Generating, sending for collection and allocating weekly and monthly direct debit runs - Responsibility for downloading, verifying and processing payroll files daily - Processing daily payment runs - Verifying finance criteria and ensuring bank details are correct before processing payments - Ensuring confidentiality and GDPR standards are met at all times - Liaising with external auditors - Preparing financial reports - Providing general support including administration support to the finance team when required

High level of numeracy skills - Exceptional attention to detail - Confident working in a busy working environment meeting deadlines - Excellent communication skills - Strong IT skills including Excel - Direct Debit experience is preferable - Go Cardless knowledge would be advantageous although not essential - Tech savvy and confident using accountancy software - Personable and enjoys working as part of a busy and collaborative team
