Role-Specific Skills and Knowledge:
  • - Ability to offer guidance and leadership to the project team, overseeing, motivating, and coaching professional engineering specialists
  • - Proficient in identifying and proposing solutions to technical and commercial challenges encountered while handling assignments
  • - Skilled user of relevant software and calculation tools
  • - Professional competence in applying standards, processes, and procedures within work operations
  • - Sound understanding of applicable codes and standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • - Adhere to and follow relevant discipline-specific procedures and provide feedback for ongoing enhancement
  • - Monitor adherence to competency standards
  • - Engage in incident inquiries when necessary
  • - Offer Piping Engineering Expertise
  • - Contribute to piping and layout investigations
  • - Outline piping requirements for technical project scopes
  • - Produce required calculations and documentation for the development of offshore workpacks and supply chain use
  • - Assist in the development of procurement requisitions for piping-related materials and equipment
  • - Conduct checks on piping deliverables
  • - Support the Lead Piping Engineer and the project team in delivery
  • - Resolve piping engineering issues by applying recognized principles, codes, and standards
  • - Ensure technical integrity of piping designs by following procedures
  • - Provide interdisciplinary support through design reviews and checks
  • - Share feedback on lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • - Utilize software tools for design and checks (e.g. Navisworks, E3D)
Subject Matter Expertise:
  • - Technically proficient within own discipline and actively maintains competence in line with standards through continuous professional development
  • - Provide discipline support to the business
  • - Capture and leverage learning opportunities
  • - Awareness of relevant regulatory framework and legislation
  • - Competent in scope definition
QUALIFICATIONSQualifications:
  • - BSc, BEng, or equivalent professional qualification; or HND or equivalent with extensive relevant experience in a similar capacity
