This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Grantham District Hospital supporting the Emergency Department/ UTC team.

The post-holder will provide a high quality shop floor clinical presence, together with high standards of education, training, research and audit.

The post holder will work in close co-operation with nursing, managerial and medical colleagues to provide high quality healthcare to the Trusts patients.

This will be at middle-grade level (Senior Decision-Maker) within the department.
Further PA for either clinical work or SPA activities can be negotiated as part of initial job planning process.

To see patients attending the Emergency Department, making primary diagnosis and initiating emergency treatment. This will be at middle-grade level (Senior Decision-Maker) within the department.
Clinical leadership in the delivery of high quality emergency care.
Teaching and training at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including assessments.
Audit, research and quality assurance processes.
Do you have full registration with the General Medical Council and a valid licence to practise with the General Medical Council
Do you have previous experience in an Emergency Department at equivalent level to ST3+
Have you got expertise in full range of medical conditions
Do you have the ability to help lead and supervise a multi-professional team and take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
