Our client is opening this luxury Care Home in the summer of 2024, a state-of-the-art facility offering 24-hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in the beautiful town of Harpenden.

This role offers an attractive hourly wage of 23, the chance to work in a brand-new, luxurious care home, and the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of residents.

Our client's new care home is not just a care home, but a luxurious facility equipped with ensuite wet rooms, stylish lounges, multiple restaurants, a gym, caf , cinema, treatment room with nail and hair salon, a leisure and wellness room and a private dining room for special family celebrations. Located in the gorgeous town of Harpenden, it's just a short walk away from the train station.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:
  • Care for residents as if they were your own family, looking after their physical, psychological and social needs.
  • Ensure the highest standard of care is provided at all times.
  • Develop tailored care plans and administer medicine safely.
  • Make critical clinical decisions based on your professional judgement.
  • Create a safe and accommodating environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs.

The ideal Registered Nurse will:
  • Be upbeat, caring and compassionate by nature.
  • Have good reading, writing and communication skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to working shifts.
  • Be a qualified RGN or RMN with a valid NMC pin number.
  • Have a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices.
  • Have a background working as a staff nurse or registered nurse in a care home environment, but this is not essential.
