The Business:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain an advanced automated 3D simulation pipeline capable of handling diverse digital avatar and clothing inputs.
  • Innovate and implement tools and systems to enhance simulation processes and workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership and manage a team of 2-3 developers, guiding projects from conception to completion.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and approaches into the existing pipeline.
  • Maintain and enhance code, including direct programming in languages such as VEX (Houdini) and MEL (Maya).

Requirements:

  • More than 10 years of experience in tool development or production engineering within 3D simulation, visual effects, animation, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise as an elite tool programmer, with extensive experience in VEX, MEL, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of managing or working in technical teams and delivering high-quality production work.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking approach to production challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience involving complex 3D simulations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
