The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Senior Retoucher within our in-house team at Oh Polly. This is an ideal role for an experienced Retoucher looking for new opportunities to develop their career. As a senior core team member, you will be required to have a strong knowledge of retouch techniques and procedures. You will take a hands-on approach to the creative and technical aspects of a project.

Demonstrating your skills, you will complete tasks to best practice with a deadline-driven mentality.

Responsibilities:

Retouching and colour correcting product, model and campaign imagery for use across all of our platforms. Demonstrate excellent retouching skills and have the ability to re-size, crop, edit, colour correct and maintain consistency across all our imagery to ensure they are of the highest standards. Establish & maintain a close relationship with our production teams based in UK/LA to ensure retouching priorities are communicated effectively. You will be constantly aware of targets and the business goals to achieve quality across a large shoot volume to strict deadlines. Able to QA the teams images to ensure that guidelines are adhered to. Works with creative team advise on the most effective way of achieving required results. Ability to multitask, manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. Maintaining the highest level of attention to detail and quality control as possible. Skills and Requirements:

2+ years experience in a similar role, ideally with a fast-paced ecommerce environment Experience in retouching a variety of image styles, Experience in skin, hair and garment retouching are essential Degree in Photography, Digital Arts or Graphic Design with Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite & Capture One. Proficient in Photoshop, CC such as: skin retouching, colour adjustments, working across multiple layers, using adjustment layers, cloning, masking, liquifying, and the use of actions amongst other skills to create realistic, professional imagery. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to change priorities quickly and accept change with a positive attitude. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines. Self-motivated, resourceful, and hardworking with a positive attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 3D Software experience is a plus. A good understanding of photographic processes and lighting techniques. (is a plus) Knowledge of digital photography would be an advantage. What's on offer?
