Technical Support Engineer

Our client is a well-established IT / Technology Consultancy serving customers nationwide. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive Technical Support Engineer. This role is a key position within the team where you will assist in customer onboarding and act as a backup for the team lead when necessary. As a part of this role, you will utilize your communication skills and technical knowledge to address technical escalations and problems while also supporting customer onboarding. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support Engineer

  • Address 3rd line technical escalations and technical issues
  • Implement change management and problem resolution as per customer agreements
  • Serve as a liaison between the Service Desk, Customers, and Technical Consultancy Project team
  • Assist in customer onboarding and occasionally visit customer sites for process reviews

Experience Required: Technical Support Engineer

  • Prior experience in a 2nd or 3rd line technical support role
  • Proficient in resolving issues related to Hyper-V and VMware
  • Knowledge of O365, Active Directory, Microsoft Servers, and basic Networking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
