The Business Administrator apprentice will provide both general and training related admin support to help our learners achieve a smooth and seamless learning experience.
This is an office-based role which will support the growth of their Newcastle based business while providing an opportunity to earn while you learn.
Study a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship and learn a variety of business skills whilst gaining experience of work in the education and training sector.
Duties:
- General office related tasks such as printing, scanning, shredding etc.
- Preparing learner resource packs, including packing, and posting.
- Sourcing and booking venues and travel arrangements.
- Assisting in the preparation of training materials.
- Preparing social media content and monitoring of accounts.
- Answering general enquires from new customers.
- Dealing with data, preparing reports and meeting minutes.
Skills:
- Trustworthy, have an excellent work ethic and appreciate confidentiality.
- Confident with the use of IT, basic typing skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Trusted to complete solo tasks, once appropriately trained to do so.
- Confident speaking to new people, courteous, polite.
- Have the desire to work in a business environment.
Other:
- 30 hours per week. Mon-Thu 09:3017:00, Fri 09:3014:30
- 25 days holiday (+ 8 bank holidays).
- Closure over Christmas and New Year (5 days of holiday are allocated for the Christmas closure)
