Role summary:


As a Compliance Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a skilled, knowledgeable, and insightful team that delivers a proactive, compliant applicant experience.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide an outstanding onboarding journey, through the management of KPIs and workloads to handhold applicants through the process, reducing the time it takes to become an NHSP Flexible Worker (Bank Member) and minimising the number of issues encountered along the way.


Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of skilled compliance professionals, providing coaching, support and development opportunities
  • Ensure the team delivers an outstanding customer experience resulting in positive feedback from applicants
  • Setting and managing KPIs and objectives to track and monitor the effectiveness of the team in reducing delays and issues that applicants face and recognising performance
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure effective and timely onboarding of applicants
  • Use insight and data to drive continuous improvement within the Compliance Team and wider NHSP service

We would love to meet people with:

  • Significant experience in a similar team management/leadership role, preferably within a fast-paced, customer service-focused environment
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team and deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Strong management skills and experience in managing KPI's and workloads, carrying out one to ones, appraisals and performance management meetings
  • Some knowledge of onboarding, vetting and screening processes would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills including the use of Excel to manage data
  • The ability to prioritise an everchanging workload based on customer needs and quickly resource teams to meet urgent requirements
