As a **Project Engineer** specializing in **Sustainability** in **Design Management**, you will play a vital role in Gatwick Airport's journey to NetZero by 2030.

  • Participate in the transition to NetZero by 2030
  • Orchestrate design management across varied projects

In this role, you will work alongside the Programme Design Manager and Senior Project Engineer, ensuring that designs meet diverse project needs across multimillion-pound projects. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

  • Collaborate with Programme Design Manager and Senior Project Engineer
  • Provide technical input for design changes during project lifecycle

We are looking for individuals with a university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field, and experience in engineering design or design management. Chartered Membership of a recognized Engineering Institution is preferred.

Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within a Baggage Handling environment is crucial, as is experience in coordinating design teams for multidisciplinary projects. The ability to seek sustainable design solutions to reduce carbon emissions is highly valued.
