An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ealing Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities within the Nursing team. The CTPLD is looking for a part time band 6 Learning Disabilities Nurse to join the team.

The post is a part time post, of 18.5 hours per week / 0.5FTE. Flexibility can be offered as to working days with the option of some remote working. The nursing team is a strong, passionate and dedicated team of RNLD's who endeavour to improve the health outcomes for people with learning disabilities across Ealing. If you are passionate about working with people with a learning disability and have experience of doing so, the CTPLD welcomes RMN's and RGN's to also apply. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the nursing model to assess, plan implement and evaluate care, ensuring people's physical health needs are met to support mainstream health services to meet the needs of people with learning disabilities and to support hospital admission and discharges. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead on service development projects and implement innovative nursing and multi-disciplinary pathways. You will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, PBS, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy to ensure a holistic approach is taken to manage health needs.
