Overview:
You will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience, earn a salary, and receive all your training at no cost to you as you complete a IT Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Salary:
£11,000 to £13,000 per annum.
Main responsibilities:
- Answering calls where customers report faults with their phones/routers/connectivity etc.
- Performing first line troubleshooting on the above calls, and assisting in resolving faults if feasible (once trained).
- Escalating and logging faults with our remote support team when they need to be checked by the service carrier/provider (BT, Gamma, Vodafone, Microsoft etc.)
- Once trained, using our support ticketing system and their communication skills to report, monitor and deal with their own workload of fault (and/or provisioning) tickets. Speaking to both suppliers and the clients.
Desired skills and Personal qualities:
- Excellent eye/attention for detail.
- Ability to use initiative, and take ownership of their workload.
- A passion and interest in technology (WAN/LAN, VoIP telephones, networks etc.)
- Local to us (Loughton, Debden, Woodford, South Woodford, Wanstead, Snaresbrook, Leytonstone, Leyton, Stratford, Epping etc.) would help as it's less travel for them.
Entry requirements:
The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

Future prospects:
92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
