Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
  • Plan and implement ageappropriate activities to promote learning and development
  • Supervise and engage children in play and learning experiences
  • Monitor and ensure the wellbeing of each child in your care
  • Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized nursery space
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • NVQ level 3 or higher
  • Level 2 or 3 Playwork
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

Job Type:
Part-time

Salary:
£7.50-£10.50 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 16 per week
