As a service provider, RES has the skills and experience in asset management, operations and maintenance (O&M), and spare parts – supporting 41GW of renewable assets across 1,300 sites.nThe Technician will be responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of PV solar equipment systems in the UK with the support of the Team Leader.nRoles and ResponsibilitiesnUndertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing.nCarry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all solar PV systems which will include mechanical and electrical diagnosis on Power Inverters.nProactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of Solar Plant availability.nProvide out of hours and weekend response.nEnsure compliance with all health and safety requirements.nAssist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager.nConduct training lessons to enhance other employee's technical knowledge.nReport all maintenance works carried out using computer based service reporting procedures.nJob RequirementsnService Engineer with Solar PV backgroundnTroubleshooting and Fault Finding experiencenKnowledge of Power InvertersnComputer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsnWilling to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice.
