Job description
MATERNITY COVER.

DRIVER ESSENTIAL.

P/T Personal Assistant, Support worker.

Hours: 4hrs per week or 16hrs in a 4 week period flexible. Potential for extra hours.

£12 per hour

Days / Hours 1 day at the weekend

Duties


Personal Assistant support worker required to support a lady who has a learning disability and is in her late 30s.

She lives at home with her family

Duties will include providing company and support to do the things she likes

She is interested in:
Going swimming

Bowling

Going out for lunch

She also enjoys Arts and Crafts and playing board games.

Going to a cafe

You will be required to encourage and support her with her social activities.

Experience / Qualifications Required

Previous experience working in the care sector, preferably supporting young adults with extra support needs

Qualities

This vacancy would requires someone, kind, caring and non-judgemental, reliable and able to work flexibly. Applicants must be confident, outgoing, friendly and cheerful.


Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New or update PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.
