The Head of Service Delivery at the Finance Hub is the linchpin of our operations, orchestrating seamless delivery, monitoring, and reporting. Acting as a vital conduit between the FHub and our stakeholders, internal and external, you ensure a laser focus on outstanding delivery to meet business needs. Your role isn't just about keeping tabs on metrics; it's about providing insightful guidance for adaptive decision-making and ensuring clarity in the operational environment. This means establishing and adjusting SLAs with the business, facilitating smooth processes for scope changes like onboarding new attractions, and conducting regular performance reviews with key stakeholders. You'll also oversee our suppliers, ensuring they meet our needs, and smoothly integrate changes in software or wider business processes. Being an integral part of the Merlin Group, your ability to respond promptly to new requests is paramount. Your role isn't just about operations; it's about embodying the Merlin Way, championing our core values of care, collaboration, expertise, enjoyment, and innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA - significant PQE;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Finance processes;
  • Significant experience of leading and developing team;
  • Understanding & experience of change management methodologies
  • A background in a shared service model is preferable, either from working within or working with a SSC;
  • A passionate leader is essential to align to our business culture and to drive the team forward;
  • Experience of multi country, multi region operation;
  • Experience with complex financial systems landscape and data structures;
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders;
  • Proactive individual with the ability to both operate strategically and tactically and able to effectively manage multiple challenges whilst maintaining high quality throughout;
  • Acts as a key member of organisations leadership community, role models company behaviours and contributes to the achievement of the wider business strategy.
