Faculty Transforms Organisational Performance Through Safe, Impactful and Human-Led AI

Founded in 2014 with a forward-thinking Fellowship programme, we train academics to venture into the commercial world as data scientists.

Today, we cater to over 300 global clients, delivering cutting-edge software solutions and tailored AI consultancy services to industries such as retail, healthcare, energy, and government entities. Our acclaimed Fellowship program sets us apart.

Renowned for our expertise and safety measures, OpenAI selected us as their primary technical partner to assist clients in deploying advanced generative AI technologies securely.

Our impactful initiatives have made a significant difference, from predicting NHS demand during the pandemic to optimizing green energy production and enhancing online child safety.

We're on a mission to harness the remarkable benefits of AI while prioritizing safety, and we're eager for talented individuals to join our cause.

At Faculty, we've amassed an impressive portfolio of work since our inception, particularly supporting health and care establishments throughout the UK.

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Manager to join our vibrant team, overseeing various programs that encompass generative AI, operational predictive intelligence, cost efficiency, risk analysis, and AI strategy implementation.

The ideal candidate will hold a crucial position in setting strategic goals, managing program execution, and influencing our sector's trajectory by serving as a trusted AI advisor within the health and care community.

As a Senior Manager within our Government Business Unit, you'll contribute to both sales and delivery operations.

  • Supervise the execution of multiple projects, acting as the primary liaison between the client and Faculty teams on a daily basis with support from the Customer Director and Technical Director.
  • Exercise judgment in determining involvement levels and risk management, ensuring our teams deliver top-notch quality work.
  • Guarantee client deliverables' quality, lead communications, and maintain ongoing scope control.

Recognizing the experimental nature of data science and AI, you'll guide clients through projects, balancing scope to optimize client satisfaction yet ensuring sustainable delivery and profitability for the teams.

Drive account expansion by closely monitoring customer priorities, proactively identifying new AI utilization opportunities in the sector, and transforming these concepts into reality.

You'll also contribute to business development efforts alongside the Customer Director and other senior leaders.

Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, establishing credibility through exceptional delivery and showcasing expertise in applying AI to solve complex challenges.

Contribute to unit growth by actively participating in refining processes and protocols that empower the Government team to achieve our goals.

With over 7 years of successful technology delivery experience, predominantly in the health and care realms, you likely hail from a prominent government, tech, or data background.

Masterful in interacting with senior figures, possessing exceptional verbal skills, and adept at simplifying complex concepts.

Leadership:

Proven track record of leading project teams to successful ends, not just via direction but also by coaching team members towards optimal decisions.

Project Management:

Experience in collaborating with technical teams and overseeing technical projects with a fundamental understanding of the subject matter. Speak persuasively about leveraging AI and data to solve problems, creatively guiding clients on implementing these solutions tailored to their needs.
