At
Nexxus Care our Care Assistants are caring and supporting individuals within their own home, we expect our care assistants to carry out person centred care to all service users within our care.


This role is to cover double calls in Cannock on evenings and weekends


We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team of domiciliary care workers, you will be required to provide personal care (as required), prepare meals, assist with eating and drinking, carrying out shopping requirements, possibly providing palliative and end of life care and supporting service users and their families - whilst ensuring the care plan is always followed and report any changes as required.


About You:

  • Going back to basics, we need individuals who are passionate about providing care and support to residents of all abilities
  • Able to build rapport and relationships quickly


 Trustworthy and reliable
  • Are you punctual? Can you manage your time well?

  • Care is extremely rewarding, but can you handle the challenges as well as the fulfilment


 Flexible
  • We try our best to ensure you can work the shifts preferred, but on occasions you may need to be flexible

What we need from you:

  • Can you work shifts between 7am and 10pm e.g 7am2.30pm/2.30pm 10pm?
  • Desire to provide personal care and support services to residents which respect rights and choices
  • Do you have the right to work in the UK with proofs? (i.e., passport, Visa)
  • We'll need to complete a DBS check if you're successful, we will cover the initial cost of this
  • T&Cs apply


 Provide professional references
  • We'll need at least 2 references from you previous employers
  • Complete mandatory 3day classroombased induction held locally
  • You'll be paid to attend your training, and our training and recruitment team are always available to help
