Due to continuous sales growth and an ongoing commitment towards our unique customer service philosophy, CR Smith has an opportunity for a Depot Controller to support our existing infrastructure.

This role would be ideal for someone with some distribution, warehouse or logistics experience, looking for a new challenge in a fast paced environment.

The role will be based primarily at our Cowdenbeath depot, but some flexibility on supporting other depots may be required from time to time.

Key responsibilities for this exciting and fast paced position include:

  • Helping to manage all goods in and out
  • Control of stock levels
  • Providing our joiners with a first class service ensuring all their materials are ready on time and in full
  • Management of the depot infrastructure and environment
  • Support all health and safety standards throughout the depot areas
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate efficiently
  • Willing to travel and flexibility on working hours
  • Selfmotivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems
  • Full UK driving licence


CR Smith has an unrivalled reputation for excellence in the home improvement market, and this is an important role as part of our vision for service excellence and continued sales growth.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 6am-2pm but flexibility is crucial to support the needs of the business.
