The role is very client focused and the successful candidate will pride themselves on delivering a professional, helpful and friendly service while delivering high standards of client care with the hope that they will take on more responsibility and variety of work as their knowledge and experience increases.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting solicitors and executives with matters at all stages of wills & probate transactions, from file opening to archiving in accordance with office and accounts procedures.
- Obtaining and preparing file documentation.
- Keeping clients and other parties updated with progress of matters.
- Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties.
- Maintaining legal knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving office procedures.
- Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
- Any other duties which from time to time are required by the firm.
Key Skills required:
- Excellent client care.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients' expectations and matter deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
- Ability to deal with enquiries in a customerfriendly and effective manner
- Confident and accurate communication skills
- IT proficient.
The salary for this role will be based on experience, therefore please indicate your current salary and expectations for this position.
