My Client is one of the largest and oldest business's in its Sector, with a history dating back to the 1480's, they are both world renowned and respected.

Now looking to hire a Senor FP&A Analyst, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team ina great company.


Description

  • Perform FP&A activities including (but not limited to) reporting, budgeting, forecasting, decision support to provide consistent, accurate and timely output and add additional commentary and insights based on specific Divisional business drivers
  • Run and develop reports, models and approaches using analysis and problems solving skills to support projects based on requirements.
  • Analyse financial information to ensure that information is accurate, that provisions are financially sound and correctly allocated, investigate anomalies and provide explanations on variances that have occurred against budget. Where errors are found provideinformation and analysis and to Finance Operations to correct the postings
  • Identify data quality issues and work with the data team and help to resolve the issues, providing analysis and insight.
  • Propose improvements to finance activities, processes and procedures and work with the FP&A team to continually improve processes
  • Act as support for colleagues with less experience, providing guidance.

Profile

  • You'll be a selfstarter and commercially savvy
  • To be studying towards accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) OR recently qualified (study support provided if required)
  • Experience within a commercial finance environment
  • The initiative and ability to successfully implement new ideas, with drive to push through
  • To be able to clearly communicate compelling messages verbal and written
  • To be committed to continual personal professional development
  • Be a confident user of Excel
  • Power BI experience and/or knowledge
  • Experience of problem solving and analysis techniques to define problems.
