We are looking to recruit both full time and part time staff for this position. Primarily this role will be front of house working within our Ice Cream and Farmshop.

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, friendly personality to join our team helping offer exceptional customer service.

You will be contentious and well presented to help uphold the positive reputation that Stewart Tower Dairy currently has within the local community.

Whilst previous experience isn't necessary it is desirable, however, we are really looking for individuals that have a genuine interest in food and drink and providing excellent high level of customer service and an ability to work well in fast-paced work environments.

Full training will be given, experience in a similar customer service driven role is preferred but not essential. This role will require weekend working.


Our aim is to offer the best service, food and atmosphere you can find in the area whilst remaining a fun and relaxed work place.

We have both full time and part time vacancies available we ask that applicants state which of the two they are interested in when applying.


The requirements of the job include;

  • Treating customers with friendly and welcoming manner
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Taking food and drinks orders from customers
  • Serving food
  • Up selling additional products when appropriate
  • Making and serving hot drinks and Ice Cream Sundaes
  • Scooping Ice Cream
  • Using the till and handling money
  • Assisting with the general daily tasks of running a Café and Farmshop
  • Cleaning
  • Cooperating with colleagues and managers in a positive manner
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues
  • Where necessary, assisting within our Gelato Kitchen
  • Where necessary, answering and communicating with customers via telephone

As a member of our team you will receive on the job training, a share of monthly gratuities and a wage that can increase depending upon performance.

Due to our rural location having your own transportation is advisable.

Permanent employment will only be offered upon successful completion of a trial period.

Salary:
£7.50-£10.00 per hour
