About the Service

Housing Option Service provides advice and assistance under the Council's corporate duty to help clients who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. The service provides assistance to vulnerable people when they are at greatest need. About the job The role of Homelessness Auditor and Mentor sits within this Service and will undertake quality audits of cases referred for temporary accommodation placements by the Frontline Assessment and Prevention Teams. The post holder will be provide quality feedback and mentoring which will assist officers to improve decision making and case management. What we are looking for from you You will have experience of homeless assessment and auditing. Experience of working with the public in a housing related environment will be an advantage.
