BDS have a fantastic opportunity for a supported housing officer in Preston.
Our client is national charity who provide specialized temporary housing dedicated to supporting ex-offenders to reintegrate into society.
The role of Supported Housing Officer is to support to change lives, reduce reoffending rates and work within a dedicated team of housing professionals.
Duties include
Property inspections
Signposting
Liaising with Housing Benefit departments and the DWP to resolve financial queries
Tenancy audits
Developing connections with local communities and businesses
Criteria
Experience of working with ex-offenders or significant experience within the probation/prison service
Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Rate GBP20 per hour
