Senior Database Developer

As a Barclays Senior Database Developer, you will be assisting with the reduction of operational risk by helping to ensure that processes are as automated as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity to be assisting with the building and maintaining of a scalable SQL database solution.

You will also be expected to perform the role of gatekeeper to maintain the code quality and standard along with mentoring other members of the team.

Writing complex stored procedure, Functions & Triggers using Microsoft Structured Query language (T-SQL)

• Designing and building Data Models / Data Warehouse & Marts
• Producing high quality, well-structured and concise written documentation
• Hands on experience in writing complex stored procedure, Functions & Triggers using Microsoft Structured Query language (T-SQL)
• Experience in designing & building Data Models / Data Warehouse & Marts
• Experience in Data integration tools like SSIS
• Data modelling tools (e.g. SQL Developer, Python, Database Workbench, ER/Studio)

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
