Accounts Payable Manager

for an exciting Marketing Services Group in Central London paying up to £50k (+study support).

This is a hybrid working role, 4 days in the office, offering exposure across the business in a high profile, business critical role.

Exposure to international business entities is highly desirable.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of 2 junior team membersn
  • Complete understanding and accountability of the full accounts payable processn
  • Management of the end to end Company Employee card expense processn
  • Reviewing and allocating project expenses accurately to client accountsn
  • Processing supplier invoicesn
  • Preparing payable reports and raising payment for approvaln
  • Ensuing bank reconciliation and cash flow reports are routinely updatedn
  • Ensuring compliance of company payment terms policyn
  • Managing Supplier reconciliations to ensure payments are accurately allocatedn
  • Dealing with the financial administration and required reportsn
  • Dealing with vendor queries via telephone and emailn
  • Responsibility to enter accurate data in accordance with internal and external audit rulesn
  • Assistance and dealing with Internal colleagues to resolve invoice queriesn
  • Supporting the Accountants with queries during the annual financial audits / all necessary regulatory reporting to external bodies

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • At least 3-5 Years of relevant Accounts Payable work experiencen
  • Experience managing a small teamn
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel (vlookup, sumifs, index/match, pivot tables)n
  • Strong attention to detail and high numeracy skillsn
  • Well organised and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detailn
  • Self-motivated, taking personal ownership over all accountabilitiesn
  • Excellent communications skills; ability to build rapport with customers and team membersn
  • The ability to balance competing priorities and work under pressuren
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and commitmentn
  • Ambitious with a desire to succeedn
  • An excellent team player but able to work successfully as an individual
