We are currently seeking a skilled Class 1 (C+E) ADR Tanker Driver to join our client's team on an adhoc basis.

This position will primarily involve covering our clients' full-time driver's holidays, ensuring the smooth and timely transportation of hazardous waste.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) ADR Tanker vehicles in accordance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Transport hazardous materials, including Corrosive, Flammable, and Toxic substances, in adherence to ADR regulations.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Tramping duties may be required as part of the role.
  • Willingness to undergo drug testing as per company policy.
  • Provide your own full ADR Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license with ADR certification, specifically in Explosives, Flammable, and Toxic categories.
  • Previous experience driving ADR Tanker vehicles preferred.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on a 5week shift rota.
  • Must be willing to undertake drug testing as part of the employment process.
