Children's Care Worker Hailsham


We are looking for carers to join Tiger's Team We are looking for exceptional care workers to support our son with all aspects of daily living, care is delivered by two care workers in the community and at home one to one with parental support.

We need workers for after-school hours, full weekend days and full days during school holidays.

Benefits Include

  • Good rate of pay of £10.45 per hour weekday afternoons, £13.34 after 6pm weekdays and weekends.
  • Paid DBS, training, and supervision.
  • Working with a small team in a family home.
  • Contracted, regular hours in one location.
  • Making a real difference to the life of this young person and his family.

Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of daily personal care.
  • Administering medication and completing MAR charts accurately and legibly.
  • Driving a large, adapted vehicle to facilitate accessing the community.
  • Supporting a young person in his home environment and in the community.
  • Attending all mandatory and specialist training required for the role.
Essential

  • Must have an enhanced DBS check.
  • Must have a clean, full, UK driving license.
  • Must be reliable and able to cover the required hours for the role and have experience working with children or young people with complex needs.
Desirable

  • Good sense of humour.
  • Able to plan fun trips out and enjoy visiting zoos and playtime in the garden.
