The Maritime Skill's Academy:


Due to the expansion of our MSA Portsmouth training centre and further installation of our next full mission bridge simulator, we are recruiting for a full-time Maritime Simulator instructor, holding a Master Unlimited CoC and has sailed in a senior rank with passenger ship experience.

Responsibilities


We are seeking an individual for a full-time role to support the design, development and delivery of our Deck simulation and management-level courses.

These include BRM 1 and 2, Ship Handling, Azipod, Safe Watchkeeping, ECDIS and Promotion/Assessment Panels. All course are completely tailored to each shipping company or operators procedures.

Qualifications


Candidates must hold a Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency as a minimum and must also have had appropriate seagoing experience on passengers ships.

Previous instructional experience is also desirable but not essential.

This role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 16:00.

Occasional weekend work may also be required.
