A brand-new opportunity to join a public sector organisation based in Sheffield in a role that offers plenty of flexible working with only one day a week required in the office and the rest from home


We are looking for an experienced Tester, ideally with Test and Release experience and some exposure to Automation testing to join a small development team which is around 10 strong and looking to grow.

As a Test and Release Engineer you shall be getting involved in the following:

  • Working with the team to identify test techniques, tools and test strategies
  • Write and execute functional and nonfunctional tests
  • Debugging and refactor code
  • Measure and report on test activity, manage defects
  • Exploratory testing
  • Designing the test environment
  • Work with the developers to write automated scripts
  • Review release scripts
  • Create release plans
  • Functional and nonfunctional testing
