If you're knowledgeable in international transportation, import and export operations, UK VAT regulations, UK customs protocols, airline and ocean freight charges, and fine art handling methods, then this role is tailor-made for you.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute efficient transport and logistics strategies for global goods movement
- Manage import and export processes while ensuring compliance with UK VAT regulations and customs procedures
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to secure favorable contracts and competitive shipping rates
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely customs clearance for international shipments
- Supervise fine art packing and crating to guarantee the safe transit of valuable artworks
- Monitor shipping schedules, address issues promptly to minimize delays, and prevent supply chain disruptions
- Coordinate with internal teams like sales and operations to align logistics with customer needs
Skills and Qualifications:
