The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Admin Assistant to join our client school in Tameside.

As an Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school's administrative functions.

From managing correspondence to assisting with student records and supporting staff, your attention to detail and organisational skills will be paramount in maintaining the high standards of our school.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing reception duties, including welcoming visitors and directing inquiries
  • Handling telephone calls and emails, providing timely and professional responses
  • Assisting with the maintenance of student records and databases
  • Supporting staff with administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, and data entry
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the efficient running of daytoday operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school administrative role is essential
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A positive and proactive approach to tasks, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
