The RoleAs a Senior Estimator you will generally be based in the Bristol office. Work will include formulating bid / tender prices from first principles along with sending out sub-contract enquiries and analysing received quotes and putting final submissions together on a variety of exciting projects across many different sectors up to the value of £25m in and around the Bristol region. Projects may be traditional, D+B, 2 stage or framework projects and either new-build or refurbishment. Geographically projects will generally be within 40-50 miles of Bristol.You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in providing estimating duties and winning bids within the construction industry and have the desire to progress your career, with very real opportunities for career progression available.CandidateThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in an Estimating role, working for a main contractor on similar sized projects.Communication, attention to detail and working collaboratively are crucial in this role. You will have a positive attitude and confident approach, being able to communicate with people at all levels.
