Job Description

Wayman Education is looking for a Year 4 teacher in High Wycombe from April 2024 This is an opportunity to work within a 'Good' primary school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Southeast England from April 2024. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.
Responsibilities of a Year 4 teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 4 students based on the National Curriculum
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year4 students to encourage growth and development
  • Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices
  • Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 4 student progress
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Suitable Applicants Must Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Year 4 in a primary school setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to providing high-quality education to children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
