ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking to appoint 1 energetic, motivated, and effective Peer Support Worker, this exciting role will take responsibility for supporting in the #WELL HEALTH programme within Nottingham city.

This is a fixed term contract for 24 months with the possibility of extension depending on funding.

Ensuring accurate record keeping, and positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will involve supporting clients with their mental health wellbeing and supporting them with activities and sign posting.

Meeting clients and helping them to take action to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Supporting clients by delivering one to one or group-based activities.

Travel between different locations will be essential to deliver the service to clients. The role requires flexibility to operate in different locations around the city.

  • Working within a multiagency setting supporting people. (A&I)
  • Experience managing a case load and delivering to targets (A&I)
  • Experience of supporting people with mental health problems (A&I)
