Based at STEP Business Centre (S36, Deepcar) we are a short journey from Stocksbridge, Hillsborough, Stannington, Chapeltown, High Green, Penistone and Barnsley.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy, exciting business and one of the UK's largest waste management companies.
What we need from you as our Customer Service Advisor:
- Daily availability from 10am to 6pm
- An excellent telephone manner
- A proven (2 year +) history of call handling
- Experience dealing with domestic & commercial customers
- The confidence to be a Key Holder
- Solid IT skills (Full training on inhouse software provided)
- Errorfree typing in wellwritten English
- Proven ability to follow instructions
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- A positive approach to work and a cando attitude
- Positivity and a genuine love for working in a team
- Confidence in liaising with management and implementing improvements
What the role involves:
- Answering the telephone and online chats
- Advising our customers on the best service for them
- Handling Objections
- Taking payments
- Making bookings
- Liaising with domestic and commercial customers
- Forwarding disputes to the correct channels
- Keeping accurate records
- Checking work for accuracy
- Maintaining the standard for our customer service team
- Locking up the office
Working Patterns:
This is a permanent role working full time, 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
